Tournament Info

The 2025 season is officially here as the Bob Jones University women's volleyball team makes their way to Danville, Virginia to compete at the Cougar Classic. 

The Bruins will begin the tournament with a 3 p.m. contest against Methodist University on Friday. The last meeting between the Bruins and the Monarchs was in 2022 where the Bruins took the 3-1 win. Bob Jones looks to start their season on a high note and improve upon their 2-0 all-time record against Methodist University. 

Following their contest against Methodist, the Bruins will face off against Roanoke College. Last season at the Cougar Classic, the Maroons took their first ever victory against Bob Jones in a five set thriller. 

At noon on Saturday, the Bruins will take on the home team Averett University. The Bruins and Cougars fist met in 2019 at the Cougar Classic when the Bruins took the 3-1 victory. They have met four times before with the two teams splitting the series 2-2. 

The Bruins will wrap up their Virginia road trip with a 2 p.m. game against William Peace University. In the past, the Bruins have struggled against the Pacers. Through three matches played, the Bruins have only won one set against William Peace. 

With a strong recruit class and a solid group of returning players, the Bruins look to make a statement against these four NCAA DIII programs.
