The Bruins are back on the bus as they travel to Charleston, South Carolina, for a Saturday afternoon matchup with NCAA Division I opponent The Citadel.

A 2-0 win on Tuesday over Pfeiffer University gave the women's soccer team a much-needed boost following a string of close results and scoreless draws. Francesca Aurednik and Myleigh Shaw found the back of the net in that game, while the defense held firm to post a clean sheet. 

The Bulldogs enter the weekend match 2-3-1 on the season after falling in a 2-4 loss to Charleston Southern on Thursday. 

The Bruins have faced The Citadel only once before back on September 7, 2018, where they lost 4-0 to the Bulldogs. 

Kickoff for Saturday's game is set for 1 p.m. at Washington Light Infantry Field and will be streamed on ESPN+.
