The reigning south region champion Bruins men's basketball team has released their 2025-26 schedule, marking the start of a new era under Head Coach Tony Miller.

"We're all excited to get going," Coach Miller said. "We're fortunate to have a great group of returnees who understand what it takes to have a championship culture."

The Bruins begin their new campaign October 23 as they travel to Montreat College to take on the Cavaliers at 7:00 p.m. Their first NCCAA South Region game is shortly after on November 1 when they go to Laurel, Mississippi to play Southeastern Baptist College for a noon weekend tip-off.

While the Bruins have a scrimmage at home November 6, their first of eight official home games comes on November 18 as they host Brevard College for a 7:00 p.m. tip-off. Then coming out of Christmas break, they will host three straight important games at the Davis Field House against region opponents Toccoa Falls College and Pensacola Christian College followed by a game against Covenant College.

The Bruins have a home-and-home series with new south region team Baptist University of Florida. They host the Eagles January 31 before traveling to Graceville, Florida for a game February 12.

This season brings more opportunity for the Bruins to play high-talent schools at the NCAA DI and DII levels. They will be playing away exhibitions against USC Upstate, Furman University, and Winthrop College. The exhibition against the Furman University Paladins will be played in the newly renovated Timmons Arena.

After an exciting regular season, the NCCAA DII South Region Tournament will be hosted by Toccoa Falls College beginning February 26. The Bruins will be looking for a region three-peat and another chance at a national title.

While Coach Miller is thrilled with his returning players, he also highlights the importance of the new players. "The addition of seven new players who are ready to contribute gives us the chance to have a really special group."
