The Bruins volleyball team is back on the road to travel to Misenheimer, North Carolina for a weekend tri-match against North Carolina Wesleyan University and Pfeiffer University. 

The Bruins enter the weekend 6-9 on the season after dropping a 3-0 match to Spartanburg Methodist College on Wednesday. 

The NCWU Battling Bishops are looking to break out of a four game losing slide as they sit 6-8 on the season. After falling to Meredith College on Thursday, the Pfeiffer Falcons sit at a 3-9 overall record. 

Saturday's opening game against North Carolina Wesleyan will mark the first ever meeting between the two volleyball programs. But the Bruins and Falcons are no strangers. Since 2021, the two teams have met eight times with Bob Jones leading the all-time series with seven straight wins. 

First serve is scheduled for 2 p.m. against NCWU followed by a 4 p.m. contest against Pfeiffer.
