It's tournament time this weekend in the Davis Field House as the Bob Jones University Bruins host the NCCAA Region Kickoff on Friday and Saturday. Six teams will participate in the two day, two court tournament. 

The Bruins open the competition against region opponent Trinity College of Jacksonville (formerly Trinity Baptist College) on Friday before they take on another region rival, Pensacola Christian College. Friday's games will be a blackout theme for all Bruins fans in attendance. 

The TCJ Eagles enter the weekend winless with a 0-3 record. Since 2015, the Bruins and Trinity College of Jacksonville have met 11 times with the Bruins sweeping each of the matches played. The PCC Eagles sit at 2-2 on the season as they make the trip to South Carolina. Across 24 matches played, the Bruins have only lost twice to their region rival.

On Saturday, the Bruins open the day at 10 a.m. against a new program in Baptist University of Florida. In their inaugural season, the BUF Eagles currently hold a 2-2 record. 

In their final game of the weekend, the Bruins will take on Ohio Christian University at 2 p.m. The two teams previously met back in 2018 where BJU took the 3-0 win.

All games are free to attend, and fans are asked to enter the Davis Field House through the main entrance with seating located on the upper east side of the arena.
