The women's basketball team is back in action as they travel to Jacksonville, Florida for their first regular season game of 2026. The team is set to face off against region rivals Trinity College of Jacksonville at 7 p.m. on Monday night. 

The Bruins enter the new week 4-5 on the season and 1-0 in conference play. Monday's game marks the first regular season game for the women's basketball team since December 8 where the Bruins fell in a tight 63-62 loss to Sewanee. Since then, the Bruins kept up their level of play with several exhibitions and scrimmages. 

Trinity College of Jacksonville sits on a two game winning streak after opening the year with a win against Denmark Technical College before edging out region opponent Toccoa Falls College 75-69 on Saturday.

Monday's game marks the 23rd meeting between the Bruins and Eagles. Last season, the Eagles broke a seven-game winning streak against the two teams with a narrow 61-60 win. The Bruins responded with a crucial 80-61 win just 12 days later. 

Tip-off for Monday's region game is set for 7 p.m. in Jacksonville, Florida.
