Right out of the gate, it looked like the Bruins were much more comfortable on the field than the Barons. Even though both teams had the equal number of shots in the first half, the Bruins had much more possession in their offensive half. It was only a matter of time before the Bruins would take the lead and that came in the 8th minute. A throw-in sneaked its way all the way into the box where Jackson Reinhard was standing and he put it away to put the Bruins up 1-0. Bruins goalkeeper Luke Provenzano made a key save in the half that kept it 1-0 going into halftime.
In the second half, the Bruins control continued. They were able to fire four more shots than the Barons in the half. The 1-0 lead jumped to a 3-0 lead quickly from goals in the 62nd and 63rd minute. To make it 2-0, Solomon Leaman settled a ball in the box and made a touch toward Reinhard who scored again. Then in the 63rd minute, the Bruins were fouled in the box during a free-kick earning a penalty kick. David Issa effortlessly put the shot past the Barons' goalkeeper to make it 3-0. The Bruins defense did not make it easy for the Barons to find chances to claw their way back into the match. In the final 10 minutes, the Barons were making one final push but came up empty. The Bruins won 3-0.
