For the third straight season, the Bruins are taking a weekend trip to Jacksonville, Florida to take on the Edward Waters University Tigers and the Trinity College of Jacksonville Eagles in back-to-back days. In the past two years, the Bruins have a 3-1 record in these matches.

The Bruins have a 2-1 record all-time against Edward Waters with their only loss coming last year. Shannon Miller scored to open that match for the Bruins, but then the Tigers were able to run away with it and score three goals.

Trinity College of Jacksonville is a very common opponent for the Bruins since they are in the NCCAA DII South Region. Last season, the Bruins and Eagles met on the pitch three times, and the Bruins won each meeting. The last time these teams played was in the national semifinal where the Bruins won 1-0. Altogether, the Bruins have a 14-1 record against the Eagles, and they have won the last eight matchups spanning back to 2018. 

This weekend presents a great opportunity for the Bruins to capture two wins. They are still coming off of a 0-0 draw to Bryan College last week because their scheduled match for Tuesday this week against Erskine College was canceled.

The exciting time in Jacksonville starts at 5:00 p.m. tomorrow against the Tigers.
