About:
The Youth Baseball Camp at Bob Jones University provides quality instruction along with competitive games and age appropriate drills. Your teen will have the wonderful opportunity of developing their skills on the beautiful stadium field of Bruin's baseball at Conestee Park. We have designed a progressive plan to improve the skills of each participant. We will spend time on learning how to play to glorify God, developing individual skills, proper baseball strategy, and scrimmage to apply what has been learned. We look forward to having you join us!

Cost:
$200 ($225 after May 1)

Check-in:
Monday 12:40 p.m. to 1 p.m. at Conestee Park Stadium - 840 Mauldin Road, Greenville, SC

Camp Ends:
Camp ends each day at 4 pm at Conestee Park

Attendees:
Ages 12-14 (boys)

What to expect:
  • Receive individual attention and learn offensive and defensive skills….hitting, fielding the fly ball and ground ball, throwing mechanics, and baserunning.
  • Play scrimmage games to put instruction into action
  • Interaction and instruction from Bruins coaches and players
  • Gain the necessary confidence to be an effective competitor with the proper spirit of Christian sportsmanship
  • Devotional times
  • All players will receive a Bruins Baseball Camp T-shirt

Meet Coach Morrison:

A 2017 graduate of Brevard (N.C.) College, Coach Kyle Morrison played four years with the Tornados. Appearing in over 100 career games, the Greensboro, North Carolina, native finished with a career batting average of .298. A left-handed hitting first baseman, Morrison hit .323 as a junior in 2016 and .296 as a senior in 2017.

Morrison became only the second four-year starter to play for the highly successful High Point-Thomasville Senior Legion team. The HiToms made back-to-back trips to the state championship in 2011 and 2012. Morrison also played for the Greensboro Colt All-Star team that advanced to the Colt World Series in West Lafayette, Indiana, in 2010.
