Danielle Heffernan is the newest addition to the Bruins volleyball coaching staff. Originally from Yardley, Pennsylvania, Heffernan played collegiate volleyball at Clearwater Christian College under the direction of Coach Vickie Denny. During her time there, she helped lead the team to four straight NCCAA DII National Championships.

After graduation in 2011, Heffernan joined the coaching staff at Clearwater as an assistant coach. She served in this role until the school closed in 2015.

After the closing, God led her to Ohio Christian University where she served as the Head Volleyball Coach and Athletics Compliance Administrator for three years.
