After back to back shutout wins at home, the Lady Bruins will be on the road on Saturday afternoon for a matchup with Martin Methodist College in East Ridge, Tennessee. The Bruins enter the match at 3-3 overall.
Angelina Martin has been solid for the Bruins in net as the junior keeper recorded 12 saves in a 2-0 shutout of Brewton-Parker College on Saturday. Her performance earned her National Player of the Week honors from the NCCAA.
The Bruins will need a strong back line as they face the Red Hawks, who finished the 2019 season at 16-5-1 overall, advancing to the NAIA national championship where they fell short to Marian University. The Red Hawks enter Saturday's match on the heels of a 4-0 shutout of Faulkner University on October 13.
This will be the first-ever meeting between the two programs with kickoff scheduled for 3 p.m. at Camp Jordan stadium.
