The Lady Bruins soccer team will play their home opener on Saturday night as they welcome Toccoa Falls College to Alumni Stadium. The Bruins enter the match on the heels of their season opener against USC Beaufort.
The Screaming Eagles come into the match having dropped their season opener to Trinity Baptist College 3-2 on Saturday. Trinity Baptist scored the go-ahead goal late in the second half to hand TFC the loss.
In their history, the Bruins and Screaming Eagles have met sixteen times with the Bruins holding 14-2 record against TFC including a ten-game winning streak. Last season, the Bruins and Screaming Eagles met twice including in the NCCAA DII South Region Championship where the Bruins charged out with three first-half goals en route to winning the region championship 4-0.
