The Bruins volleyball team will be on the road on Wednesday night as the team travels to Brevard, North Carolina, for a matchup with Brevard College. The Bruins come into the match at 4-0 on the season after an impressive performance at the Labor Day Tournament last weekend.
The Bruins were able to sweep Columbia College (SC) and Agnes Scott College on Friday before battling to 3-1 wins over Johnson University (TN) and Lancaster Bible College on Saturday. Victoria Glaze led the Bruins with double-digit kills in three of the four matches last weekend earning her National Player of the Week honors from the NCCAA.
The Tornados come into the match at 1-3 on the season after playing a tournament in Georgia last weekend. The Tornados were able to bounce back with a 3-2 win over LaGrange College after opening the season with back to back losses.
The Bruins and Tornados have met just once in their history with the Bruins capturing a 3-0 sweep at Brevard during the 2019 season. Wednesday's match is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. in Brevard, North Carolina.
