Coming off of a 5-3 victory against Columbia International University on Tuesday, the women's soccer team will face Oglethorpe University on Friday night at 6 p.m. The Atlanta team comes to the Upstate 2-0-0 after a 3-1 win against LaGrange College on September 5.
It's been two years since the Bruins and Stormy Petrels last met, with that game ending in a 2-0 defeat. The Bruins lead the series with three wins and only one loss which came on September 13, 2019.
Looking into Friday's match Head Coach Chris Carmichael says that "if we keep that possession up high, get the width out of our wingers and keep the ball moving, we'll do well."
Friday's match is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. at Alumni Stadium.
