The Bruins volleyball team is back on the road on Tuesday night as the team travels to Demorest, Georgia, for a matchup with Piedmont University. The Bruins come into the match at 9-5 on the season after a strong performance in competition last week.
The Bruins won their home opener on Thursday with a dramatic 3-2 win over Brevard College. The team then went 3-1 over the weekend at the Tornado Classic against a strong field of NCAA D3 competition.
The Lions come into Tuesday's match still winless on the year at 0-7 including a 3-0 loss to Toccoa Falls College on Saturday. This will be the seventh meeting between the Bruins and Lions with the Bruins owning a 5-1 record against Piedmont.
The Bruins have been on a hot streak of late as the team has won eight of their last nine matches. Tuesday's match is set to begin at 7 p.m. at Cave Arena in Demorest, Georgia.
