The Bruins have one final test before getting to the postseason action. They will be hosting Piedmont University Tuesday night to close out the regular season for a single match.
Over the weekend, the Bruins played four total matches, two Friday and two Saturday. The Bruins finished 3-1 over those four matches. The Bruins got wins over Regent University, Carolina University, and Pfeiffer University all in straight sets. Their lone loss of the weekend came from Salem College which went to five-sets.
The Piedmont University Lions are a NCAA DIII opponent part of the Collegiate Conference of the South. Their record this season is 14-14
. Saturday, they participated in a tri-match against Berea College and Huntingdon College. They won over Berea 3-2 and lost to Huntingdon 1-3.
This is the last regular season game for both schools. The last matchup between the Bruins and Lions went to the Bruins in straight sets (25-21, 25-21, 25-16). Bruins lead the overall series 8-1 winning the last six.
