The women's basketball capped off their weekend against Randolph College. Unfortunately, the afternoon matchup wouldn't go their way and the Wildcats beat the Bruins 42-74. The loss would drop the Bruins to 0-3 to start the season.
The Bruins fell behind early to the Wildcats and the Wildcats never looked back. Bruins trailed through the first quarter 7-17 and then fell behind further into the second 21-7. At the close of the first half, the Wildcats held a 16-31 lead over the Bruins. The second half remained much of the same as the Bruins couldn't get anything to fall. The Bruins fell to the Wildcats 42-74 and would fall to 0-3 on their season.
"It was disappointing to not be able to back up our performance from last night with another good outing.  We at least wanted to make another step in a positive direction and overall we didn't feel like that today," said Head Coach Mike LeViere. "We struggled to get into any rhythm offensively and that seemed to affect every aspect of our game. It feels a lot like we took two steps forward last night and one step back today. Our job will be to make sure we use today to be better in our next outing."
