The National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) has named Bob Jones University Bruins cross country coach Ken Roach as the National Coach of the Year for Division II. On November 10, the men's and women's cross country teams swept the Division II National Championships in convincing fashion to wrap up a great 2023 season.
This is the third time in his career that Coach Roach has earned National Coach of the Year honors.
"Honestly, I am super humbled to be part of such an outstanding team," said Head Coach Ken Roach. "It is such a great team atmosphere and the trusting connections make this fun. I appreciate all fo the support for the athletic staff."
Following a competitive regular season slate of races, both of his teams were able to pull out a great race at the NCCAA DII National Championship meet in Warsaw, Indiana on November 10. The women's team captured their fourth straight national title while the men's team continued their dominant streak winning their eighth national title in a row.
BJU is a NCCAA Division II member featuring 13 varsity programs and over 200 student-athletes.
