The Bob Jones University women's volleyball team makes the quick trip to Spartanburg, South Carolina for a midweek matchup against Spartanburg Methodist College.Â
The Bruins enter this week with a 20-10 season record. Over the weekend, they faced three strong teams. On Friday they fell in a 3-1 decision to Carolina University before falling 3-0 to Salem College. They bounced back to sweep Pfeiffer University to close out their weekend in North Carolina.Â
Earlier this season on September 3, the Bruins and Pioneers met in the Davis Field House where Spartanburg Methodist spoiled the Bruins home opener with a close 3-1 loss. Since that game, the Pioneers have moved to a 14-15 overall record.
First serve is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. from Bridges Arena in Spartanburg, South Carolina as the Bruins look to improve upon their 4-3 all-time series record against the Pioneers.Â
