The Bruins look to stay hot as they welcome the Averett University Cougars to Alumni Stadium on Tuesday at 4:00 p.m.
The Bruins hold a 2-0-1 record all time versus the Cougars with their most recent meeting resulting in a 0-0 draw last season on the road. In the two previous seasons, the Bruins came away with two wins, one at home and one away. Mia Marks has three career goals against Averett and she looks to be a factor again.Â
The Bruins are coming off a very successful weekend beating Pfeiffer University and Allen University. The Bruins scored a combined 12 goals and only allowed one. Francesca Peters had a great weekend with four goals and two assists. The Bruins offensive movement is starting to become more and more fluent and they have another chance to show it off against the Cougars.
Kickoff is scheduled for 4:00 p.m. at Alumni Stadium in Greenville, South Carolina.
