The season continues on as the Bruins travel to Lookout Mountain, Georgia this weekend to face off against Covenant College and Maryville College on back-to-back days.
The first matchup of the weekend is against the Covenant College Scots on Friday with a 5:30 p.m. kickoff. The Bruins hold a 0-1-1 record against the Scots all time with their last matchup resulting in a 1-1 draw last year. It was a primarily defensive game for the Bruins and they will look to hold strong again.
Then less than 24 hours later, the Bruins face off against the Scots of Maryville College. This will be the first matchup in program history against the NCAA DIII program from Maryville, Tennessee. Last season, the Scots also drew with Covenant College 1-1, so they will provide similar competition.
The Bruins are coming off of a great start to their season last weekend where they triumphed to a 2-0 record, beating North Carolina Wesleyan University and Meredith College. They look to continue their momentum and find a couple more wins this weekend.
Kickoff for Friday's match is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. followed by a 2:30 p.m. kickoff on Saturday in Lookout Mountain, Georgia.
