The National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) has named Bob Jones University Sport Management major Henry Rumble the DII Offensive Player of the Week for baseball.
"Henry had a great week," Head Coach Kyle Morrison said. "He worked hard in practice and made some midweek adjustments and it paid off big time on Saturday."
In game two of the doubleheader against the Paine College Lions, Rumble had a historic performance from the plate to lead the Bruins to victory. He became the first Bruins player ever to hit two home runs in a single game. On top of that, he also hit an RBI-triple in the game as well. He ended the game with four RBIs, three runs scored, and 12 total bases.
Rumble is now the third Bruins player in program history to be given this honor.
