Bruins Cross Country Teams Release 2026 Schedule

The starting line for the 2026 season is in sight as the Bob Jones University Bruins cross country teams announced their schedule.

"The schedule this coming year will demand strength and focus from our athletes," Head Coach Ken Roach said. "We continue to expose our Bruins team to quality competition to help find the best in each one of them."

The Bruins added another chapter to their storied history last season as the men's team captured its 10th consecutive national championship while the women's team earned a national runner-up finish. With this upcoming schedule, the Bruins believe they will gain the experience to perform at their very best when they are back at the national championship this season.

This season, the Bruins will compete in six total meets, three of which are meets that the Bruins have never competed in before. The beginning of the season is the familiar part as they will host the annual Bruins XC Night Classic on the Bob Jones University campus on September 4. A week later, they will travel right up the road to compete in the Furman Invite on September 12 which is run on the Furman golf course.

The next three meets are new for the program, and they are high-level NCAA DI meets. On September 18, the Bruins will travel to Cary, NC to compete in the adidas Cross Country Challenge hosted by NC State. A couple weeks later, they will travel to compete in the Louisville Classic in Louisville, Kentucky. Finally, to close the regular season, they travel to Tuscaloosa, Alabama to compete in the Crimson Classic on October 16.

The NCCAA National Championships are held in Joplin, Missouri again this season on November 13. The men's team will be fighting for their 11th straight national title as the women's team looks to get back on top.
