The Bruins golf team has released the schedule for their upcoming fall season where they will play in several familiar tournaments across four states.

"The fall 2026 schedule gives us the opportunity to return to some past events and play some courses we have played before," Head Coach Dennis Scott said. "Having prior experience and course knowledge are important factors in preparing for tournaments, developing strategies, setting goals, and eventually improving performances."

The first tournament of the season will be the Maggie Mountain Invitational on August 31-September 2 hosted by Alice Lloyd College in Prestonsburg, Kentucky at Stonecrest Golf Course. This tournament is one of the team favorites because of the views in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains. The Bruins will then participate in Koalas Invitational hosted by Columbia College on September 8 at Wildewood Country Club. This is a new, single-day, 36-hole invitational that Coach Scott will present the Bruins with unique mental toughness and stamina challenges.

Those first two invitationals lead up to a highlight of every fall season, the Bruins Golf Classic at Cobbs Glenn Country Club on September 21-22. "It looks like our Bruins Golf Classic could host the largest field of golfers we have ever had with potentially over 70 golfers," Coach Scott said.

Next, the Bruins will compete in the NCCAA South Region Championship September 28-29 as they look to earn a spot at the national tournament in mid-October. This year, the region championship will be hosted by the University of Toccoa Falls at the Cateechee Golf Club in Hartwell, Georgia. This will be the first time that any current Bruins golfers will play the course.

The regular-season schedule concludes with two final guaranteed tournaments. The Bruins will compete in the Pioneers Fall Invitational hosted by Spartanburg Methodist College on October 12–13 in Gaffney, South Carolina before closing the fall slate at the Eagle Invitational hosted by Alice Lloyd College on October 26–27 in Cohutta, Georgia.

"Overall, it is a great fall schedule with a good balance between tournaments we have played in the past and new events to enjoy," said Coach Scott. "These are always tremendous opportunities for our guys to compete with some outstanding collegiate golfers."
