Men's Golf Adds Three Recruits to 2026-27 Roster

The Bob Jones University men's golf team has added three great talents to their 2026-27 roster that hope to help them push towards a south region title.

Graydon Hammond:
  • Hometown: Simpsonville, South Carolina
  • Major: Business Administration
  • Graydon was the team captain and team MVP during his senior season at Woodmont High School.
  • Words from Head Coach Denny Scott: "Graydon attended our Bruins summer golf camps for a few years (was an invitee to BJU's first-ever Elite Golf Camp) and has showed significant growth and improvement recently. His passion for golf is quite evident and his potential to challenge our top returning players for a spot in the line-up is very solid."
Tyler Keith:
  • Hometown: McDonough, Georgia
  • Major: Business Administration
  • Tyler was a state champion during his senior year of high school.
  • Words from Head Coach Denny Scott: "I have known Tyler's family for decades and am thrilled to have him on the Bruins golf team. His competitive passion is contagious and his attention to detail when it comes to swing mechanics is outstanding. His potential for rapid growth and development into our program is off the charts."
Ethan Koch:
  • Hometown: Greenville, South Carolina
  • Major: Undeclared
  • Ethan won two SCACS championships with Bob Jones Academy and was a top-five finisher at the championship three years in a row.
  • Words from Head Coach Denny Scott: "Since BJA started a golf team, Coach McDonald has developed the potential of a number of young golfers while building a consistently competitive program with SCACS championships. Ethan will be another outstanding addition to the Bruins from that program following in the steps of Brandon Autry and Michael Abdo who also played golf for the Lions and became Bruins golfers.  Ethan will challenge the current Bruins golfers off the tee with outstanding clubhead speed and distance. With a little more fine-tuning in his short game, he will consistently challenge the current Bruins golfers for a top spot in the line-up."
These three newcomers and the rest of the Bruins golf team begin their season August 31 at the Maggie Mountain Invitational in Prestonburg, Kentucky. The full season schedule can be seen here.
