The Bruins will look to snap their losing streak on Tuesday night as the team will be on the road to face Carolina University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. The Bruins are 0-5 on the season and enter Tuesday's game on the heels of a tough 63-59 region loss to Toccoa Falls College on Saturday. The Bruins had four players score in double-figures in their last game, but key turnovers down the stretch handed the team their fifth-straight loss.
Carolina University enters Tuesday's game at 5-3 overall. The two teams met January 19 in Greenville, with Carolina holding off a late comeback by the Bruins to win 57-51. Jad Sleet led Carolina with 20 points, including a late three-pointer to seal the victory. Delaney Edwards led the Bruins with 12 points and 5 rebounds in the loss. The Bruins also had 25 turnovers in the game, and struggled offensively shooting just 30% from the field in the game.
The two teams will take the court on Tuesday night with tip-off scheduled for 6 p.m. in Williams Gymnasium in the Pope Activities Center.
