Two Women's Basketball Players Named NCCAA Scholar Athletes

For their efforts in the classroom, the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) has named two Bob Jones University women's basketball players as Scholar Athletes for the 2025-26 season. The recognition is given to student-athletes who maintain at least a 3.40 cumulative GPA and are a junior, senior or graduate student.

Junior Early Childhood Education major Caitlyn Dickerson and junior Kinesiology major Jenna Brooks have each earned the honor for the first time in their collegiate career.

"This recognition is well deserved as these young ladies have worked extremely hard," said Head Coach Mike LeViere. "This is a testament to their quality of character and a good example of what we are about. I'm happy for them; that their diligence off the court has been rewarded. Caitlyn and Jenna represent our team and university well both on and off the court. It's a privilege to work with young ladies who recognize that life isn't about them or their abilities in any one area. Our athletes are concerned with their academics, and I appreciate the NCCAA recognizing their excellence in multiple areas."

With Dickerson and Brooks earning the academic recognition, this marks 33 BJU student-athletes to be named Scholar Athletes by the NCCAA so far this school year.
