The Lady Bruins wrap up regular season play on Saturday evening as the team welcomes Carolina University to the Davis Field House. The Bruins come into the game on a hot streak as the team has won four straight and five of their last six to improve to 5-7 overall and 2-3 in region play.
Carolina University enters Saturdays' game at 7-4 overall having won three of their last four games. These two teams have already met twice during the 2020-21 season, with Carolina winning narrowly in both games.
On January 19, Carolina edged BJU 57-51 at the Davis Field House thanks to a late run to pull away. Jad Sleet led Carolina with 20 points and 5 rebounds in the win while the Bruins were led by Delaney Edwards finishing with 12 point and 5 rebounds.
The two teams met again just a week later with Carolina winning 68-58 in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Jad Sleet and Malayah Montgomery both scored in double-digits for Carolina while Delaney Edwards finished with 19 points for BJU in the loss.
Tip-off for Saturday's game is scheduled for 6 p.m. in Greenville, South Carolina, as the BJU Bruins look to close out the regular season with a win.
