The Bruins baseball team will be on the road on Tuesday afternoon as the team faces Truett-McConnell University in Cleveland, Georgia. The Bruins are still in search of their first win of the season as the team enters the game at 0-7 overall and 0-4 in region play.
Last weekend, the Bruins were swept in a three-game series at Toccoa Falls College. In the last game of the series, the Bruins battled back but the deficit was too much to overcome in an 18-9 loss. Offensively, the Bruins have been led by Cheo Arias who is batting .400 on the season with six hits while Zach Burk is batting .304 with seven hits on the year.
The Bears of Truett-McConnell enter Tuesday's game at 9-7 on the season having won two of their last three games including a 13-4 win over Toccoa Falls on March 2.
This game between the Bruins and Bears is a make-up game from earlier this season as the two teams had their previous series canceled due to weather. Tuesday's game is scheduled for 3 p.m.
