The Bruins will begin their second season with a three-game home stand this weekend at Conestee Park in Greenville, SC. They will host Milligan University for their home opener Friday evening followed by a double-header on Saturday.
The Bruins were originally scheduled to open their season on the road on Tuesday, but due to weather that game was postponed.
Last season, the Bruins played their inaugural campaign as the team finished 8-26 on the season. The team closed out their first season strong as they upset #2 seeded Kansas Christian College in the NCCAA regional tournament before coming up short later on in the tournament to KCC to close out the 2021 season. They saw several bright spots last season and added depth in key positions year with a strong 2022 recruit class.
After picking up two wins over WVU Tech on Monday, Milligan University enters this weekend with nine games under their belt as they sit 6-3 on the season. Friday's game will be the third time the two schools have played each other. The Bruins fell 9-0 in both games to a strong Milligan side.
All baseball games will be played at Conestee Park (840 Mauldin Rd. Greenville, SC 29607) and are free for fans to attend. Friday's game will begin at 6 p.m. with a 12:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. start time scheduled for Saturday.
