The Bruins are back in action as they travel to North Carolina for a midweek doubleheader at St. Andrews University.
After a five run rally in the bottom of the 5th inning on Friday, the Bruins came back to beat Covenant College 5-4 on Friday night from Conestee Park. The Bruins have now improved to 2-11 this season.
The Knights sit 17-6 overall and have an 11-2 record at home. St. Andrews is in the middle of series against conference opponent Reinhardt University. They lost 14-6 on the road on Sunday and have a doubleheader on Monday afternoon.
The Bruins and Knights met for the first time back on February 22 and despite a strong offensive showing from the Bruins, they fell 12-7.
Bob Jones looks for another win as first pitch is scheduled for 2 p.m. on Tuesday with the second game to follow at 5 p.m. in Laurinburg, North Carolina.
