The Bruins continue their series of road games with a weekend trip to Toccoa Falls, Georgia where they will face NCCAA opponent Toccoa Falls College.
Bob Jones enters the series 2-17 on the season after a loss on the road to Maryville College on Tuesday. The Bruins had a good start to the game, scoring in the first inning, but they couldn't hold off the Scots and fell 11-1.
Earlier this season, the Bruins hosted the Screaming Eagles in Greenville where the Bruins went 1-2. In the first game of that series, Henry Wallach pitched his first complete game as the Bruins came away with the 2-1 victory.
Toccoa Falls comes into the weekend after splitting a Tuesday doubleheader against Southern Wesleyan University. They came away with the 7-6 win in game one before falling 11-1 in game two. The Screaming Eagles are 9-28 on the season and 5-4 in conference play.
The series will get underway on Friday at 2 p.m. before the teams wrap up the series with a Saturday doubleheader beginning at noon. Games will be played at TFC Screaming Eagles baseball field in Toccoa Falls, Georgia.
