The Bruins close out the 2022 regular season at home on Friday and Saturday as they welcome Mid-Atlantic Christian University to Conestee Park in Greenville, South Carolina. The Bruins and Mustangs will begin the series Friday night before one final home game on Saturday before the Bruins look to regionals.
Saturday's game also serves as a time to celebrate the seniors on the baseball team. A brief senior ceremony will be held prior to the start of the game.
Bob Jones and Mid-Atlantic Christian University (MACU) met earlier in North Carolina on April 15 and 16 where the Bruins took the first two games before falling in a tough 18-17 result. Through the three games played that weekend, the Bruins outscored the Mustangs 43-35.
Heading into Friday's game the Bruins are 7-28 on the season with a game on deck Thursday afternoon against Brevard College. The last four games for the Mustangs have been canceled, so MACU enters this game with fresh players while the Bruins will have played two games already this week. Mid-Atlantic Christian University is 16-29 overall and 6-13 on the road this season.
Friday's game is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. and Saturday's game will start at noon.
