The Bruins baseball team looks to get back in the win column Tuesday afternoon as they welcome Truett McConnell University to Conestee Park for a 4 p.m. contest.
Last week, the Bruins traveled to Mocksville, North Carolina to face Carolina University where they battled but fell short in all three games. Bob Jones enters this week on a five game losing slide sitting at 2-6 on the season.
Truett McConnell comes into the game with 16 games under their belt and an 11-5 season record. The Bears faced Kentucky Christian on Friday in a doubleheader where they came away with the sweep.
Through the last two seasons, the Bruins and the Bears have met four times with Truett McConnell coming away victorious in each game.
