The Bruins baseball team is going on the road for a Saturday doubleheader in Tennessee against Maryville College. After falling in a home game to Truett McConnell University on Tuesday, the Bruins look to bounce back as they enter the weekend with a 2-7 record.
Maryville College has had a perfect start to their season as they come into the weekend boasting a 9-0 record. The Scots swept their three-game series against Hanover College last weekend to remain undefeated.
The two programs have met twice before with the Scots beating the Bruins in both contests. In their last meeting in April 2022, Maryville rallied late in the game to overtake the Bruins in an 11-5 result.
Saturday's game will begin at 2 p.m. from Scotland Yard with a seven inning contest followed by a nine inning game.
