After a long weekend of volleyball at home, the Bruins are back on the road for a single match against Johnson and Wales University. For the last several years, the Bruins have matched up well against Johnson and Wales and will be seeking their 11th straight win over the Wildcats.
The women's volleyball team will be going into this matchup 11-2 on the season after finishing this past weekend 3-1. Their wins were over Grace Christian University, Boyce College, and Clinton College. Their lone loss would come from the hands of Guilford College.
Head Coach Vickie Denny commented, "this was a great weekend of competitive volleyball. Each one of these matches will prepare us for the end of our season."
As the Bruins prepare for this matchup, they will try to repeat what they have done for the last several years. The two teams played twice last year with the Bruins coming out on top. The first matchup would be away at Johnson and Wales where the Bruins would win a 3-1 match. The second matchup last year would be on the home court where the Bruins would win in a clean sweep 3-0.
