The Bruins baseball team has had a busy week already and it's not over yet. This weekend, they travel to Greensboro, North Carolina for a three-game series against Guilford College. The two teams will play their first game of the series on Friday at 2 p.m. in a single nine inning game. On Saturday, the teams will meet again for two seven-inning games to close out the series at 12 p.m. and 3 p.m.

Guilford College has one series under their belt so far for this season, but fell short in each game. They hosted University of Mount Union Saturday and Sunday losing game one 3-2 in nine-innings, game two 14-3, and game three 11-5. Saturday's games were a doubleheader of two seven-innings games with the first one going into extras.

The Bruins have two full series under their belt having played against Mid-Atlantic Christian University and Concordia University Ann Arbor. Furthermore, they played Columbia International University in a single nine-inning game on Tuesday. After seven games, the Bruins sit at 0-7 with their rally falling short against CIU.

The Quakers and Bruins baseball programs have never played each other before. Guilford is part of the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) and NCAA DIII while the Bruins are a part of the NCCAA and compete in the south region of the NCCAA.
