The Bob Jones University women's basketball team is back home in the Davis Field House for a Saturday afternoon contest. The Bruins will take on the Mid Atlantic Christian University Mustangs at 3 p.m. At halftime of Saturday's game, the Bruins will recognize senior Ainsley Hutton for her contributions to the team.
The Bruins enter the weekend on the heels of back-to-back losses on Monday and Tuesday. They look to get back in the win column and improve on their 7-14 season record.
Mid Atlantic Christian University travels from Elisabeth City, North Carolina 0-9 on the season.
It's been a decade since the Bruins and Mustangs last met. They first met on January 9, 2015 where the Bruins prevailed with a 85-46 win followed by another big 73-45 victory later in December of the same year. Former Bruins player and current BJU women's basketball assistant coach, Sha'Ron Brunson, contributed in both of those wins.
Tip-off for Saturday's game is scheduled for 3 p.m. in the Davis Field House. Stick around at halftime as the Bruins recognize senior Ainsley Hutton.
