After a great win on the road at Columbia International University, the Bruins are hosting Mid-Atlantic Christian University for their 2026 home opener at Conestee Park for a three-game series this weekend.

It all begins Friday evening at 4:00 p.m. as the Bruins are set to start Tillman Padgett on the mound who closed Tuesday's win against the Rams. He is still looking for his first win of the season as the Bruins came up just short last weekend. And then on Saturday, Mack Ritter and Jason Quillin are both scheduled for a start and they will also be looking for their first win of the season. Overall, the Bruins pitching staff has done well so far, but it has been the offense that is off to a slow start. If the Bruins find their bats, this could be a great weekend.

Evan Johnson leads the team going into the weekend with a .462 batting average and will look to stay hot.

In the all-time series with the Mustangs, the Bruins have a 4-1 record. All five of those games were played in the 2022 season and the Bruins won both games played at Conestee Park.

First pitch for Friday's home opener is scheduled for 4:00 p.m.
