12 Indoor Track & Field Athletes Named NCCAA Scholar-Athletes

The National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) has named 12 Bob Jones University Bruins indoor track and field athletes Scholar-Athletes for the 2025-26 season. To be given this recognition, student-athletes must maintain at least a 3.40 cumulative grade point average (GPA) as a junior, senior, or graduate student.

Eight of the 12 athletes came from the women's team. Nursing majors Bri Felter and Kristen Dodds, English Education major Cora Gagne, and Educational Studies major Melody Davis are the juniors named scholar-athletes. The other four female scholar-athletes are seniors: Health Sciences major Kate Amato, Biology major Lauren Jones, and Kinesiology majors Emily Walton and Abigail Woo.

There were four scholar-athletes that are on the men's track and field team. The two juniors are Kinesiology major Kyle Williams and Multimedia Journalism major Daniel Kyle. Criminal Justice major Misha Gray and Public Accounting major Luke VanDenBerghe are senior scholar-athletes.

BJU is a NCCAA DII member featuring 13 varsity programs and nearly 200 student-athletes.
