The Bob Jones University Bruins women's track and field team has been recognized as a Scholar Team by the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) for the 2026 spring season. This recognition is awarded to teams that achieve a minimum team grade point average of 3.40. This season, the outdoor women's track and field team finished with a team GPA of 3.50.
This Scholar Team recognition comes after the team had seven NCCAA Scholar-Athletes this past season. Seniors Abby Woo, Emily Walton, Kate Amato, Lauren Jones, and Kristen Dodds along with juniors Briana Felter and Melody Davis were all recognized individually for their academic achievements.
This recognition adds to the success that the team had on the track this spring. Nearly every athlete raced to personal best times, and it was all capped off when Lauren Jones became just the second All-American in program history in the women's 10k at the NCCAA National Championships.
