Tuesday's game signaled the start of the toughest portion of the 2017-18 schedule for the Bruins with three NCAA DI opponents in a seven day stretch. The Bruins tried to get their offense going again, but turnovers plagued the team allowing Wofford to take advantage. Sarah Thomsen was a perfect 4-4 in the 1st half for the Bruins including 3-3 from beyond the arc. Still, the Bruins couldn't maintain a consistent offensive presence as the Terriers took a commanding 47-24 lead into halftime.

"Overall we are happy with the effort, competitiveness, and parts of our execution," Coach LeViere said. "Everyone was in the game and we can look at the film and see a lot of positive things, things we did well, and then look at some areas we made mistakes and learn from as well."
Sarah Thomsen led the Bruins with 17 point while Sha'Ron Brunson finished with 15. Wofford controlled the rebounding margin as they out rebounded the Bruins 50-28. With the loss, the Bruins fall to 3-5 on the season.
