Bob Jones University named 81 Bruins student-athletes to the President's and Dean's List for the 2020 fall semester. In total, 41% of the student-athletes at BJU received the academic honor in what was a difficult semester due to challenges with the COVID-19 pandemic.
Students who were named to the President's list needed to attain a 3.75 or higher grade point average to be given the recognition. Those who were named to the Dean's List achieved a GPA of 3.00 to 3.74.
"We're very proud of these student-athletes for the diligence they have shown in the classroom," Bruins Director of Athletics Dr. Neal Ring said. "Their pursuit of excellence is seen in competition, in the classroom and in their daily walk with Christ."
Twenty-four student-athletes were named to the President's List. The women's soccer team led the way with four players earning the recognition while men's soccer and women's cross country each had three.

Fifty-seven student-athletes were named to the Dean's List with the women's soccer team again leading the way with 12 players earning the honor. The women's basketball team had seven players named to the Dean's List as 65% of the roster was named either to the President or Dean's list for the semester.
