COVID Protocols
The Bruins baseball team returns to Conestee Park on Saturday afternoon as the team welcomes Johnson University (TN) for a doubleheader. The Bruins come into the game on the heels of back to back losses to Milligan University on Tuesday night. In both games, a four-run fourth inning proved costly as the Bruins fell 9-0 in both games.
Johnson University (TN) enters Saturday's doubleheader at 4-19 overall including dropping back to back games on Sunday against Alice Lloyd College. The Royals have been led by Timothy Howard and John Turn as the pair is batting .440 and .414 on the season with a combined 43 hits on the season.
The Bruins have been led by Rommel Acosta in recent games as the senior has had seven hits in the last five games including going 6-7 in the doubleheader against Carolina University last Saturday.
Game one of the doubleheader is set for 12:30 p.m. in Greenville, South Carolina.
