The Bruins will play the first of a four-game homestand on Tuesday afternoon as the team welcomes Truett-McConnell University to Conestee Park. The Bruins enter the game winning three of their last four game as they sit at 4-17 on the season.
The Bruins were able to snag back to back wins in a Friday doubleheader over Johnson University (TN), including battling back from a 7-0 deficit in game two to win 10-8. On Saturday, the Bruins fell behind early and couldn't recover in a 9-4 loss in Knoxville, Tennessee.
Truett-McConnell comes into Tuesday's game at 20-15 overall including winning four straight and seven of their last eight games. The two teams met earlier this season in Georgia with the Bears coming out strong from the start to build an early lead. TMU then put the game out of reach with an 8-run 4th inning to win 18-4 on March 9.
Tuesday's game will get underway at 4 p.m. in Greenville, South Carolina.
