The Bruins baseball team will host their final home series of the 2021 inaugural season this weekend as the team welcomes Trinity Baptist College to Conestee Park. The teams will play three games with game one of the series slated for Friday night at 6 p.m. before a doubleheader at 12:30 & 3:30 p.m. on Saturday.
The Bruins come into the game at 4-18 on the season as the team fell to Truett-McConnell University on Tuesday. Before that game, the Bruins had won three of their last four games as the team continues to build this season.
Trinity Baptist enters the weekend series at 8-15 overall, but the team has been on a hot streak of late winning five of their last six games including back to back wins over Florida National University on April 3.
This will be the first-ever meeting between the two baseball programs, although TBC and BJU have a storied history of competition in other sports. On Saturday, the Bruins will also take some time to honor the five seniors on the team this season.
Game one of the weekend series will be played on Friday night at 6 p.m. at Conestee Park in Greenville, South Carolina.
