The Bruins are back at Conestee Park this Friday and Saturday as they host Carolina University for a battle of the Bruins series. Bob Jones enters the three-game home stand 0-4 on the season after falling 12-7 to St. Andrews University on Tuesday despite a strong offensive effort.
After falling to Gardner-Webb University 2-4 Wednesday evening, the Carolina University Bruins travels to the Upstate with a 5-7 season record. The two Bruins sides faced off three times last season with Carolina University taking home all three wins.
Looking ahead at the weekend series, Coach Casteel wants to see his team come out aggressive like they did on Tuesday as they continue working and devloping their skill sets. He's also looking forward to see what his pitchers do from the mound as well.
Friday's game at Conestee Park (840 Mauldin Rd. Greenville, SC 29607) is set to begin at 6 p.m. on Friday with a 12:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. start time on Saturday. All Bruins home games are free to attend and will be webcast
