The beach volleyball team is back in action as they travel to LaGrange, Georgia for the LaQuinta Inn Invitational hosted by LaGrange College. Bob Jones will face off against LaGrange College and Lincoln Memorial University on Friday and Saturday playing at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. both days.
Coming into this weekend 0-4 on the season, the Bruins will look to pick up their first win. The Bruins played their first matches last weekend down in Cleveland, Georgia where they had a good first showing.
LaGrange College enters this weekend also hunting that first win. The Panthers hosted their first home match of the season on Thursday as they fell to 5-0 to Florida Southern.
Bob Jones and Lincoln Memorial University met last weekend where the Railsplitters came away with the 4-1 win. The pairing of Andrea Villaverde and Faith Blalock were able to win both of their sets to come away with the single victory against LMU for the Bruins. It'll be another tough battle as the Railsplitters enter the weekend 4-6 on the season.
All games will be played at the Strack Beach Volleyball Courts at LaGrange College in LaGrange, Georgia.
