The beach volleyball team makes their way back to the Upstate as they travel to Spartanburg, South Carolina to take on Spartanburg Methodist College and Truett McConnell University on Saturday. The Bruins enter the weekend 3-8 on the season after picking up a 3-2 win last Friday against St. Andrews University.
Bob Jones and Spartanburg Methodist met earlier this season on March 10 where the Pioneers narrowly overtook the Bruins in a 3-2 decision. The Pioneers enter this weekend 3-9 overall after dropping two games on March 17 to Erskine College.
The Bruins and Bears of Truett McConnell University have met twice earlier this season with the Bruins falling both times with 3-2 results. In their 18 games this season, Truett McConnell has only picked up two wins, both coming against the Bruins. The Bruins will have one more shot at redemption as they face off at 9 a.m. on Saturday morning.
Saturday's games will be played at the Upward Stars Center in Spartanburg, South Carolina.
