After an eight-game road trip, the Bruins are back home to welcome Brevard College to Conestee Park on Tuesday evening.
Bob Jones enters the mid-week game 7-27 on the season after falling in their weekend series at Covenant College. Despite not getting a win, Coach Casteel was proud of how his team played saying, "our team fought more on the field this weekend than any game they've played this season. I am thankful for their improvement."
Brevard College swept Berea College at their home field this past weekend scoring 39 runs through the three games played. The Tornados enter Tuesday's game with a 19-15 season record.
The two schools were scheduled to meet earlier this season, but due to weather that game was postponed. This will be the first meeting between the Bruins and Tornados.
Tuesday's game is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. and will be played at Conestee Park in Greenville, South Carolina.
